<< review queue entry 36528 - submitted by 'ycandau' >> self-evident, so the only interest is to signal that it's a common expression (1,620,000 results) 情比金堅 is also the Chinese rendition of "Love over matter " by Dire Straits. I can't affirm that the Chinese expressions predates that, but I suspect that it does. Dire Straits lyrics are: " It takes love over gold and mind over matter to do what you do that you must " Honestly I need someone to explain that to me in proper English. I don't see how this could have given 情比金堅 if the expression hadn't been already available in Chinese. |
