But I'd still appreciate some confirmation. Editor: It's not necessarily about a death sentence, or even the legal system. As the characters 改 and判 suggest, it simply means "amend a judgement". MoE mentions the sports context specifically in its definition: 法官或體育裁判更改原先所作的判決 nciku likewise: 1. 法院更改原来所作的判决。 2. 体育比赛或其他赛事中，裁判或评委更改原来的裁决。 |
