Now, they sell advertising space on their website, and they have stopped paying FLTRP to license their C-E definitions. Instead, they provide English definitions that are produced by translating (badly) from Chinese definitions. Thus, we go from 只具有放音功能的电声设备 to "a device that can only play a record" ! Baidu: 单放机指的是只能播放而不能录制的音视频设备，常见的包括磁带单放机、MD单放机，cd VCD、DVD以及最新的蓝光播放器等都属于单放机的范畴。 eslewhere: "This forerunner is a mono recorder/player where the Walkman is a stereo play-only device. " |
