From the examples I can find, it is almost always "year".
I wonder whether it could ever be "the corresponding time period on a different day" -- even the
English phrase itself sounds odd to me.
I propose restoring the "the" at the start of the definition, since the definite article would almost
always be applicable, I believe.
Diff:
- 同期 同期 [tong2 qi1] /corresponding time period (in a different day, week, month, year etc)/concurrent/synchronous/
+ 同期 同期 [tong2 qi1] /the corresponding time period (in a different year etc)/concurrent/synchronous/
