Is it any better? p and t in English are most often aspirated, so b/p and d/t
offer two points of contrast, while z/s and v/f offer only one, the
voiced/unvoiced.

- 濁音 浊音 [zhuo2 yin1] /voiced consonant (English b or d, as opposed to unvoiced p or t)/
+ 濁音 浊音 [zhuo2 yin1] /voiced consonant (English z or v, as opposed to unvoiced s or f)/
