Editor: well, you could say something like "路上很滑", the road is slippery, I think that's good Chinese. It's a matter of opinion whether 路上 means "road surface" in that sentence. That's why in my opinion such constructs are useless. Does anyone really ever check the dict to see what 路上 means? |
