The current def, from the "initial import", seems to be derived from the same source as NC, which says "fan/devotee of singing and singer" --- ungrammatically omitting the particle before "singer" (or perhaps omitting an "s" at the end of "singer"?) It looks like the definition might have originally been "devotee of singing" and then someone carelessly sandwiched it into "fan/ ... and singer"! |
