my advanced chinese course reader has this listed as the opposite of 正确,
which points to it's meaning as improper, in addition to the rest. thought i'd
share.
Editor: hm, 正确 means first "correct, right" so you are not proving anything.
If you mean "improper" as in "improper behaviour", then 不成体统 is a better word.
However, it's a fine line between "wrong" and "improper"
