US spelling = "draft" according to Encarta, and another source says "The word draft is comes from the English for the
word “draught” which means ‘to pull’ from a cask with a hand pump. "

From what I can determine, draft beer is beer that is kept in a large container (keg etc) and served on-tap, rather than
being bottled, and it is "almost never pasteurized" (http://www.kegbooty.com/What%20Is%20Draft%20Beer.htm). But it
seems that in Chinese, the distinction between unpasteurized and draft beer is not generally made -- 鲜啤酒(Draught
Beer)鲜啤酒又称为“生啤"。酒液不经过巴氏灭菌法处理的统称为鲜啤酒。 (Baidu)

Also from Baidu: 熟啤酒是采用巴氏消毒法(Pasteurization)杀菌,而生啤酒则采用微孔膜过滤即冷过滤的方式杀菌。
