YR Chao [Mandarin Primer] says "to dally" and gives this example: 那麼你耽誤的時候兒太多了。洗臉了，刷牙漱口了，穿衣裳，穿襪子，繫鞋帶兒了---每件事都費那麼大工夫兒--- Some references also include a sense like "to miss out on sth due to dallying" Is "to interfere with" a good definition? Editor: could not find anything to justify the noun meanings, its pretty much just a verb |
