<< review queue entry 33137 - submitted by 'richwarm' >> Add quotes, as it is misleading to describe it as a "one-child family" policy? Editor: Family planning is a concept. Different countries have different takes on it and different policies addressing it. China's 計劃生育政策 has been called "the one-child" policy, but that is a bit of misnomer. There are exceptions for minorities, and if two 獨生孩子 get married they can have two children together. Also, you can have one child per each marriage, so if you get divorced or your spouse dies you can have another child with your new spouse. |
