" But 谈恋爱 can be done by a woman too: 哟，陈静，越来越漂亮啦！不会是谈恋爱了吧！......... and 谈恋爱 is not "(literary)". Also, "to court", in this sense, is "(dated)", according to Encarta ("We used to come here when we were courting.") Maybe "to be seeing someone" is a less dated expression. editor: We decided that "to woo" was incorrect. |
