MOE has entry for 開闢 (http://dict.concised.moe.edu.tw/cgi-bin/jdict/GetContent.cgi?DocNum=18115&GraphicWord=&QueryString=%B6}%C5P), but not for 開辟. Plus, 辟 means law, while 闢 means open (among other meanings). Note that there is already a separate entry for 開闢, hence the delete, not edit. Editor : the variant spelling 開辟 is also correct |
