<< review queue entry 31451 >> This is the name my Chinese sister gave me when I was a college student in China. The surname is similar to my English-speaking surname, and the given name was derived from mine, Sarah Ann, which means 'princess' and 'grace'. Editor: thank you for telling us. It will live forever in our mind. And who but a self-centered teenager could be so knowledgeable about her given name. By the way, Ann doesn't mean "gracious". And 恩美 doesn't contain the meaning of 'princess". If you have learned any other priceless items in China, please let us know. We are thinking of starting a new dictionary all about you. |
