Editor: there is more to it than just G counts. 帳 means "veil" but 賬 does not. In simplified 账 is preferred as "account". In trad 賬 and 帳 are both very common, hard to say in which sense; I just see that 賬 is used in many compounds in our dicts. The other possibility would be to have: 賬 账 [zhang4] /variant of 帳|帐 [zhang4]/account/bill/debt/ to indicate a specialized variant, but this format is not really official and could be misinterpreted (I have used it before) |
