Isn't that a hasty extrapolation? Seeing that it is an obvious reference to the idiom 一分錢一分貨, it would seem to mean "you get better than what you pay for", "best quality at lowest price". Skimming thru a few pages seems to support this. Anyone? Editor: thanks to Julien; looks like the original def was really not it. And it's not very common. |
