Sorry to amend an entry that has been amended so often before but:

1. I can't find anywhere else that uses 六書 to mean 六經
2. The shuo wen does not refer to radicals - how could it when they were not
invented for another 1500 years? It says:
形聲者,以事為名,取譬相成。
Also many radicals are 'incorrect' in that they mistake the original meaning
element in the character.
