<< review queue entry 29588 >> Sorry to amend an entry that has been amended so often before but: 1. I can't find anywhere else that uses 六書 to mean 六經 2. The shuo wen does not refer to radicals - how could it when they were not invented for another 1500 years? It says: 形聲者,以事為名,取譬相成。 Also many radicals are 'incorrect' in that they mistake the original meaning element in the character. |
