<< review queue entry 30519 - submitted by 'rypervenche' >> It also shows this in the 3000 Chinese character book by The Far East Book Company. For the meaning of "Russia", the Taiwanese pronunciation is e4. There seems to be a bit of a discrepancy on this one though. MoE has changed its stance on it, however all of the Taiwanese people that I have asked all say that they pronounce it 4th tone. http://tw.dictionary.yahoo.com/search?ei=UTF-8&p=%E4%BF%84%E7%BE%85%E6%96%AF http://tw.dictionary.yahoo.com/search?ei=UTF-8&p=%E4%BF%84%E8%AA%9E |
