<< review queue entry 30639 - submitted by 'alanwatson' >> "A" is part of the title: A Christmas Carol Editor: We need capitals in the pinyin as well. And we really ought to have quotation marks too -- “A Christmas Carol” -- but that might be a can of worms, since there are a lot of entries that would need to be changed, and we have not discussed the correct format (ascii "..." or proper opening & closing quotes “...”) as far as I am aware. [Depending on your font, those two types of quote marks may appear identical in your browser, but you know what I mean.] The book title is actually rendered in a number of ways in Chinese, including 《小氣財神》 《聖誕頌歌》 《魔幻聖誕頌》 I think "Christmas song" or "Christmas carol" would be 聖誕頌歌[sheng4 dan4 song4 ge1], but that is pretty much a construct, so I won't add it. 圣诞节时唱的赞美诗称为“圣诞颂歌”。(Baidu) |
