Editor: that's the kind of info you get on wikipedia. But... 1) to many people they are "dumplings" because they are mad with unleavened dough 2) "traditionally"? "small bamboo steamer"? all dianxin are cooked and served in small bamboo steamers in restaurants, and this is not "traditional", it just happens to be so. And me, I cook them in a big steel steamer ... |
