<< review queue entry 27036 - submitted by 'laohu489' >> Not necessarily true. SH only has one county (an island no less) and yet it still has 市辖区. Once again showing how extraneous info is often wrong. Editor: According to Wikipedia, apart from 县, there are a number of other administrative divisions that are considered to be county-level, including 市辖区. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_divisions_of_China#County_level This seems to support the assertion in the current CEDICT definition that 市辖区 are county-level administrative units. Also, according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_divisions_of_China#County_level "Shanghai is ... divided into 18 county-level divisions: 17 districts and 1 county." |
