Is the classifier useful? If so, would it be a good idea to have the noun form "evening" rather than the adverb form "in the evening"?

"in the evening" doesn't work so well for 晚上的列车 (the night train)

Editor: Sorry, Yves -- I didn't quite follow your suggestion, and added "night" because in examples such as those below it seems to mean "(the whole) night" rather than just "evening" (i.e. "the part of the day between afternoon and bedtime"). Please feel free to set me right if I'm mistaken.

2) 他听到那条坏消息吓坏了,竟连续几个晚上睡不好觉。
Diff:
- 晚上 晚上 [wan3 shang5] /in the evening/CL:個|个[ge4]/
# + 晚上 晚上 [wan3 shang5] /in the evening/
# or
# + 晚上 晚上 [wan3 shang5] /evening/night/
+ 晚上 晚上 [wan3 shang5] /evening/night/CL:個|个[ge4]/in the evening/
