It is in fact quite correct (but "country-like") in a large part of the mandarin region, I rather agree with this remark from an internaut: "北京、山东、天津、河北、东北、山西等地都是这么说的。 概括一句：黄河以北的地区方言中基本都是用“咋”的。 " If people usually think of it as dongbei dialect, it's because 東北人 are more "rustic" (no slight intended), they speak a more "authentic" (not standardized) language. |
