Despite what dictionaries say, I doubt that 支 is a CL for bulb power.
It seems to only appear in things like
60支光的灯泡
I think that 支光 is an insecable word, a unit of measure meaning "watt of radiant power", used like 寸, 公里:
60 公里的路

"candela" is the english unit for light power.
On wp, I find that "candela" is 燭光, and this sentence:
中國大陸的早些時候,把每1瓦的白熾燈的發光強度稱之為一支燭光,如25瓦的就稱之為25支燭光。
On the web I find several sites that say smth like:
坎得拉是国际单位制的基本单位(旧称“烛光”,俗称“支光”)。

So my hypothesis is that 支光 is either a deformation of 烛光 or a contraction of 支燭光; in any case it is a word.
Diff:
- 支 支 [zhi1] /to support/to sustain/to erect/to raise/branch/division/to draw money/classifier for rods such as pens and guns, for army divisions and for songs or compositions/watt, classifier for power of light bulbs/
+ 支 支 [zhi1] /to support/to sustain/to erect/to raise/branch/division/to draw money/classifier for rods such as pens and guns, for army divisions and for songs or compositions/

+ 支光 支光 [zhi1 guang1] /watt, unit of power used for electric bulbs/
