I guess the meaning of the original change was that 才 is not used in fanti to mean "only", and that 纔 is the only correct fanti.
Thank God this is not the case. In fact many Chinese would have a hard time remembering how to write 纔. And 才 is used extensively in print.
Pending our discussion about variants, I don't know what solution to adopt. Mark one as variant of the other? Or redefine as I did?
Diff:
# original change:
# # the fanti only version does not have the time meanings
# - 才 才 [cai2] /ability/talent/endowment/gift/an expert/only (then)/only if/just/
# + 才 才 [cai2] /ability/talent/sb of a certain type/a capable individual/
# - 纔 才 [cai2] /just/not until/
# + 纔 才 [cai2] /a moment ago/just now/(preceeded by a clause of condition or reason) not until/(followed by a numerical clause) only/

- 才 才 [cai2] /ability/talent/sb of a certain type/a capable individual/
+ 才 才 [cai2] /ability/talent/sb of a certain type/a capable individual/only/only then/just now/

# correct typo while at it
- 纔 才 [cai2] /a moment ago/just now/(preceeded by a clause of condition or reason) not until/(followed by a numerical clause) only/
+ 纔 才 [cai2] /a moment ago/just now/(preceded by a clause of condition or reason) not until/(followed by a numerical clause) only/
