I wonder if our definition could be made clearer. There are two distinct senses of "chronology" in Wiktionary:

1 (uncountable) the science of determining the order in which events occurred.

2(countable) an arrangement of events into chronological order; called a timeline when involving graphical elements.
Diff:
- 年代學 年代学 [nian2 dai4 xue2] /chronology/
+ 年代學 年代学 [nian2 dai4 xue2] /chronology (the science of determining the dates of past events)/
