Comment: "physiognomy" as used in this definition is the countable noun meaning "countenance; the human face", not the uncountable noun meaning "character analysis through physical features"

Example: 我混合了很多人种的面相来创造了这个形象. I blended a multitude of human physiognomies to create this plausible simulation.

Physiognomy is the assessment of a person's character or personality from their outer appearance, especially the face (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Physiognomy). This is because I thought 面相 was 相面.
