@feilipu, I propose this because:
- it's a noun (whereas "jump forward" could be interpreted
as "to jump
forward")
- to me, "leap" seems to indicate better the fact that it is
quick and sudden;
also that it is sort of a large step, not a jump like in
athletics. However, *you*
are the native speaker, you decide and process it.
Diff:
- 箭步 箭步 [jian4 bu4] /leap forward/
+ 箭步 箭步 [jian4 bu4] /sudden big stride forward/
