So what division of the pie would prove satisfactory all around? (revenue sharing)

此外,目前台灣的衛生醫療藥物管理,都依照西醫的方式,也難以令中醫界心服。
What's more, the drug control measures of Taiwan's DOH are also based on Western methodology, which makes them unfriendly to the Chinese medicine community.

開始的時候,台灣廚師們叉著雙手,冷眼看張國榮能堅持多久,慢慢的,感受到張國榮一切認真的態度,才心服口服地跟他做事。
And with his heavy Cantonese accent when speaking Mandarin, Chang faced resistance in the kitchen. At first, the local cooks would fold their arms and give him cold looks. But over time they sensed his hardworking attitude, and he earned their tacit and explicit confidence.

不服輸的她,硬是練出一手好字,讓先生心服口服地讓出記帳大權來。
Because she had not received much formal education, her husband once laughed at her, "Your characters are ugly, I can't let you help with the accounts!" Refusing to admit defeat, Hong worked hard on her writing so that her husband finally had to admit defeat himself and give her the responsibility for keeping the accounts.

Ho Sheng-hsiung felt that the Argentinian peanuts were too small, not rich enough in oil, and too dark in color, and so were not suitable for pressing for oil. He introduced the variety Taiwan 132, which he promoted widely on pampas farms.

所幸,科學界講求實力與效益,讓他們心服口服後,還是能夠共事。

http://www.freethesaurus.com/fired+up
===================================

Editor: "fired up" sounds good.
ABC's gloss "burning with righteous indignation" can be traced back at least as far as "A Chinese-English Dictionary" (1980).
But Yves comments that no Ch dicts seem to refer to "anger".
And there are lots of examples where the meaning isn't "angry".
E.g. 各地球迷在球場吶喊得熱血沸騰、好不過癮,
"... and baseball fans in each locale would go wild – it was all very exciting."

Yves also suggests adding /to have one's blood racing/.
I think that's a good idea because some references give "angry" as one sense of "fired up":
1) fired up
- excited. "I am so fired up for this party!"
- angry. "Great, now you got him all fired up."
2) Cambridge Advanced Learners Dict.
fire sb up - phrasal verb
to make someone become excited or angry
3) Web ~ "I don't easily get angry, however… THIS got me fired up!"
etc.

and Taiwan's MoE follows that

So you see, you can't believe what you see in one dict.

Editor: globally there is no point in copying, or translating, what you find on Baidu; which are just copy from some dictionary sources.
Rather, tell us why and in what context you found the entry unsatisfying.

Checking dictionaries, we can do. Guessing what's your real-life problem, we can't.

NB: in this case, the construct sense "to repair" is so prevalent that we can't ignore it in a dictionary for foreign speakers

Editor: thx. We already have 摻 noted as a variant of 搀 in the dict.
When a char is a general variant of another, we don't list all possible compounds with all possible spellings. CEdict is a database. The onus of finding 搀和 when you search for 摻和 should be on the program, or web site, that you are using. Few do it. You will notice though that Google search does perform this variant search (duh. They are professionals. They know that searching on traditional chars w/o taking variants into account is not an option)

Used in the first paragraph here:
http://www.natureasia.com/zh-cn/reviews/highlight/67124

Googling returned 'but not', but the English version of that article (http://www.nature.com/nrneph/journal/v11/n2/full/nrneph.2014.244.html) uses 'rather than'.

Editor: reject. This is definitely not a word. Not even a construct. Both characters belong to the basic set that you must master if you want to read Chinese beyond a very elementary level.

I found this here (http://www.cella.cn/book/06/04.htm), used to describe sorting of proteins to different subcellular locations.

Definition itself is here:
http://tw.18dao.net/%E6%88%90%E8%AA%9E%E8%A9%9E%E5%85%B8/%E5%88%86%E9%96%80%E5%88%A5%E9%A1%9E

I wasn't exactly sure how to formulate an equivalent definition in English.

It seems like 电阻 was confused w/ 阻抗.

Although similar, impedance and resistance are not one and the same. The 'easiest' source is the Chinese and English Wikipedia-entries for both concepts, as their translations can be found simply by switching between language versions.

- 阻抗 阻抗 [zu3 kang4] /impedance/electrical impedance (formerly resistance)/
+ 阻抗 阻抗 [zu3 kang4] /(electrical) impedance/

The opposite of "antisense"; it's the part that mRNA becomes by building the complementary strand of the antisense.
