<< review queue entry 81158 - submitted by 'richwarm' >> ABC copied this expression from another dictionary ("Wu"), defining it as "glittered coldly (in the sunlight)". Then Karan copied it over to cc-cedict. Mdbg deleted it, along with the others Karan copied. Then feilipu decided to put it back, with his own interpretation "to glitter like frost and snow". (I'm pretty sure feilipu didn't check usage, though, because "like frost and snow" is not very apt when you look at its usage. He was just taking a wild guess, based on the first character, 寒.) Don't know if it's considered a chengyu, or just a collocation.
