But cc-cedict's format does not allow for this // notation, and in other dictionaries that don't use it, the likes of 会水 and 吃饭 are written without a space ("huìshuǐ, chīfàn" rather than "huì shuǐ, chī fàn"). So that's what I'm going to do with 会水. By the way, here's an example where 会 and 水 are separated: 我也会一点水，小时候和小伙伴在河边自己学会的。那时，父母似乎不知道游泳对身体的帮助，唯恐我们不小心淹死，总是禁止我们下河。 |
