The definition is verbatim from Legge tr. of Zengzi's explanation to C.'s disciples of its meaning

The full text from the link you provided is:
子曰:“参乎!吾道一以贯之。”曾子曰:“唯。”子出。门人问曰:“何谓也?”曾子曰:“夫子之道,忠恕而已矣。”
The Master said, "Shen, my doctrine is that of an all-pervading unity." The disciple Zeng replied, "Yes." The Master went out, and the other disciples asked, saying, "What do his words mean?" Zeng said, "The doctrine of our master is to be true to the principles of our nature and the benevolent exercise of them to others, this and nothing more."

The definition you propose is actually the translation of 忠恕 in the original text. 忠 was translated to "true to the principles of our nature" and 恕 to "the benevolent exercise of them to others". This was Confucius' doctrine (or 道).

一以贯之 is "all-pervading unity" in the translated text. I think there are a lot of ways to interpret the phrase 吾道一以贯之, possibly "my doctrine is applicable to everything" or "my doctrine is applicable from beginning to end" or "to go through life applying my doctrine", etc.

That is to say, 一以贯之 is a phrase that describes Confucius' doctrine, while your definition *is* Confucius' doctrine.
