1) "creator of metalworking"
One doesn't "create" metalworking (or any other technology). You can pioneer a technology, but not create it.

2) Treated as a single name Chiyou in many sources - Britannica, Wp, NA, NC, GF, LA.
E.g. Britannica ~ "The myth of the battles between Huangdi (“The Yellow Emperor”) and Chiyou (“The Wormy Transgressor”), for example, became a part of Daoist lore and eventually provided models for chapters of two works of vernacular fiction, Shuihuzhuan (The Water Margin, also translated as All Men Are Brothers) and Xiyouji (1592; Journey to the West, also partially translated as Monkey)."

3) comet? That's not in dicts, apart from HDC. Seems like it's a bit obscure and can be omitted.
Diff:
- 蚩尤 蚩尤 [Chi1 You2] /Chi You, legendary creator of metalworking and weapons/comet/
+ 蚩尤 蚩尤 [Chi1 you2] /Chiyou, legendary tribal leader who was defeated and killed by the Yellow Emperor 黃帝|黄帝[Huang2 di4]/
