1. "tip" has several meanings (gratuity; pointed extremity; ...), but as far as I can determine, 贴士 means "tip" in the sense of "hint; suggestion; piece of advice". So the "loanword" tag applies to all the glosses, not just the first one. I.e., it should go on the left of "tip", not the right. 2. "inside story" is not very good, I think. From what Chinese dicts say, it's a small piece of information, whereas "inside story" sounds like something very substantial, as in "His biography gives the inside story of Coué in his years of fame." |
