现代汉语词典:
镬 huò
①〈方〉锅。
②古代的大锅:斧锯鼎~(指古代残酷的刑具)。

yes, it's Cantonese, but this meaning is much more common than the 'cauldron' one, Dr.eye (a Mandarin dictionary) has this meaning

not to mention, this is the origin of the English word 'wok' (鑊 is pronounced wok6 in Cantonese)
Diff:
- 鑊 镬 [huo4] /boiler or cauldron/
# + 鑊 镬 [huo4] /(Cantonese) wok/(old) cauldron/
+ 鑊 镬 [huo4] /wok (dialect)/cauldron (old)/
