Actually, in the US, it's "supposed" to be Ping-Pong, the registered trademark of a brand of table tennis *equipment* (not the game itself). But Merriam-Webster says it's used for the game itself as well. Apparently, it's legal to use lowercase in other parts of the world – OED has "ping-pong" as another name for table tennis. |
