I think these two need attention
"to turn about" seems more natural than "to turn through 180 degrees"
M and A seem to have additional senses such as "shake one's head"
There are other senses for 调头 in F.
If we retain variant of 掉頭|掉头, we need to add pinyin and delete the duplication of the definition.

There is also F's 调头 diàotou [i.e. tou5] 1 tune; melody 2 tone; note
Diff:
# - 調頭 调头 [diao4 tou2] /variant of 掉頭|掉头, to turn through 180 degrees/a U-turn/to turn around/
# + 調頭 调头 [diao4 tou2] /variant of 掉頭|掉头, to turn through 180 degrees/a U-turn/to turn around/
# - 掉頭 掉头 [diao4 tou2] /to turn through 180 degrees/a U-turn/to turn around/
# + 掉頭 掉头 [diao4 tou2] /to turn through 180 degrees/a U-turn/to turn around/

- 掉頭 掉头 [diao4 tou2] /to turn through 180 degrees/a U-turn/to turn around/
+ 掉頭 掉头 [diao4 tou2] /to turn one's head/to turn round/to turn about/
- 調頭 调头 [diao4 tou2] /variant of 掉頭|掉头, to turn through 180 degrees/a U-turn/to turn around/
+ 調頭 调头 [diao4 tou2] /variant of 掉頭|掉头[diao4 tou2]/

+ 調頭 调头 [diao4 tou5] /tone (of voice)/tune/
