It's a de facto standard now which hasn't been documented in the wiki. There are lots of inconsistencies of style that could occupy all of our available time. Most of the time, we choose to give higher priority to other tasks, such as processing submissions and adding useful words and phrases. However, if you wish to submit a batch of all entries with 'topolect' changed to 'dialect', I think that would be fine. |
