"to take" and "to bear" would be good to have, think. Both ABC and NC have "to take" as their *first* verb sense.

I suggest adding "(i.e. to have)" after "to bear" because "to bear" has 14 different senses listed in Encarta, for
example -- to tolerate, to support, to be fit for sth, to merit sth, to accept as a responsibility, ...

Also "to have" as a translation of 带 helps one to understand phrases like 這黃瓜帶點儿苦味儿 and 并且是带拉锁
的,不是带带子的。And it's got a zip, not straps.
