* As a prism, seems equivalent to 棱镜. * The other sense I think is really 菱花 + 镜. I can't find a good definition for 菱花, but it seems to mean the flower petal edging of bowls, plates, or mirrors. 菱花 is used more for the design pattern than for the flowers of both water chestnuts and water caltrops (lit. 菱花), which are so mundane there are few photos of them.
