Another editor pointed out that loli and shota actually tend to refer to individuals, not a genre. Also, it was requested to add more detail in the definitions. This is my attempt at trying to keep them short and not pasting from wikipedia.

Note I am calling one a loanword and the other a loan translation (i.e., calque), as lolicon is strictly a phonetic borrowing and the other is, well, half grapheme borrowing and half phonetic. I'm still looking for a good term for these kind of words (e.g., 冰淇淋 and 华尔街 as borrowings from English). "Loanblend" or "loan rendering" are sometimes used, but I'm not sold on these terms yet.
Diff:
- 蘿莉控 萝莉控 [luo2 li4 kong4] /lolicon or rorikon, a Japanese portmanteau of the phrase "Lolita complex"/person addicted to lolicon-style anime, manga etc (Internet slang)/male pedophile (Internet slang)/
+ 蘿莉控 萝莉控 [luo2 li4 kong4] /lolicon or rorikon (Japanese loanword)/manga or anime genre depicting young girls in an erotic manner/
- 蘿莉 萝莉 [luo2 li4] /see 蘿莉控|萝莉控[luo2 li4 kong4]/lolicon (Japanese loanword)/
+ 蘿莉 萝莉 [luo2 li4] /"Lolita", a young, cute girl/see also 蘿莉控|萝莉控[luo2 li4 kong4]/lolicon (Japanese loanword)/
- 正太控 正太控 [zheng4 tai4 kong4] /shotacon (Japanese loan translation)/
+ 正太控 正太控 [zheng4 tai4 kong4] /shotacon (Japanese loanword)/manga or anime genre depicting young boys in an erotic manner/
- 正太 正太 [zheng4 tai4] /see 正太控[zheng4 tai4 kong4]/shotacon (Japanese loan translation)/
+ 正太 正太 [zheng4 tai4] /young, cute boy/derived from Japanese loanword shotacon 正太控[zheng4 tai4 kong4]/
