I think it would look quite strange to write 生け花 as 生け華. as for the Chinese sense: M: 植物的花朵。如：「春華秋實」。同「花」。 Z: 古同“花”，花朵。 【漢語大詞典】：花。 in 辞海, for example, you can find certain x花 words (like 松花) as 亦作"松华", so apparently they indeed are variants. |
