<< review queue entry 69274 - submitted by 'zh_learner2' >> Appeared in this video: https://youtu.be/aaBLiEZgpcQ?t=97 (used the dict on the subtitles) Time stamp at 1:37 Wiki: https://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E5%8D%97%E5%BE%B7%E6%84%8F%E5%BF%97%E6%8A%A5 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S%C3%BCddeutsche_Zeitung I hope I got the Syntax right (because of proper names) ---------------------------------- Editor: In principle, you can scrape *all* of the many thousands of names in Chinese Wikipedia (people, places, book titles etc) and their English equivalents, to derive a large C-E name dictionary. Pleco, for one, has stated that they are going to do that after their version 4 is released. I don't think it makes much sense for us to continue manually adding a tiny fraction of those names one by one (except for the most important and relevant proper names, such as Chinese province names.) |
