<< review queue entry 66690 - submitted by 'pzelchenko' >> You might also consider changing the straight 卡式 entry to broaden the definition from tapes to many things that are based on a retractable cassette. ------------------------------------ Editor: Thanks. I don't think they're called "cassette stoves" except maybe in Chinglish. I imagine the fuel could be butane, for example, not necessarily propane. Many references to 卡式炉 suggest that they are used outdoors, which isn't what "tabletop cooking" suggests to me. E.g. 户外游玩,除了卡式炉,我们也经常会用分体式气炉。 I will indeed propose a change in the definition of 卡式, along the lines of 1. (of a device) designed to accept a cassette, cartridge or canister (loanword from "cassette") 2. card-operated (also written 插卡式) (loanword from "card") |
