<< review queue entry 63118 - submitted by 'monigeria' >> First heard this on TV - talking about fat people's fat hands. 爪 is usually used for animals, but here it's mostly referring to people, so although it seems quite transparent, I'm voting to submit because it is idiomatic and has become a set phrase. ex: 忽略我的小胖爪 你怎么知道我是小胖爪?有证据吗 《妖猫传》这只黑猫已经长残了!胖成球!小胖爪和黄轩有一拼了! 萌娃把抠了鼻子的小胖爪让狗狗舔,太坑狗了_腾讯视频 --------------------------------- Editor: If you look at pictures of 小胖爪, there seems to be no sign that they are particularly small or fat. (See examples below.) I don't think 小 means "small" here. It's just a diminutive prefix. 小胖爪 is somewhat like English "fat little paws". (Note that 爪 can mean "paw" as well as "claw".) Web ~ - "Now, none of you krauts try to board this ship unless you have gold in your fat little paws." - “There's no middleman, no little broker, getting his fat little paws on your business.” ... except I think the tone is a bit different -- 小胖爪 doesn't have that derogatory ring to it. Of course, "fat little paws" doesn't imply that the person literally has hands that are "fat" and "little". Examples: (lady showing off her diamond ring) [pic caption] 秀秀钻戒(忽视我的小胖爪) http://s1.sinaimg.cn/bmiddle/4cc217fe88dccf31872d0 (two pairs of hands patting an animal) [pic caption] 找人! |
