2. Administratively, it hasn't been a town since 2010; in that year it became a district.

"迴轉壽司" has 1.34 million Google results (https://www.google.com/search?q=%22%E8%BF%B4%E8%BD%89%E5%A3%BD%E5%8F%B8%22), "回轉壽司" has 70k (https://www.google.com/search?q=%22%E5%9B%9E%E8%BD%89%E5%A3%BD%E5%8F%B8%22).

Sushi Express, the biggest conveyor belt sushi chain in Taiwan, uses "迴轉壽司"; see heading at the top of this page: https://www.sushiexpress.com.tw/about_us
-----------------------------------

Editor:
Yes, the Wp article is titled 迴轉壽司 as well.
https://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E8%BF%B4%E8%BD%89%E5%A3%BD%E5%8F%B8

I think that in traditional characters, 迴 tends to get used rather than 回 when the movement is similar to a planet orbiting the sun (revolution) rather than a top spinning on its axis (rotation). That would make sense since 迴 has the 辶 component which indicates travel. And of course, a sushi dish *travels* around the room; it doesn't *spin* like a top.

Encountered on this page: https://www.chineseinsfbay.com/f/page_viewforum/f_5/items_8BAA.html

It contrasts with 合租 which indicates a tenant seeking someone else to share a lease with them.

I confirmed this distinction with my native Chinese-speaking coworker.

Editor: "edamame" normally include the pod and they're usually boiled and salted.
But 毛豆 commonly also refers to the beans removed from the pod.

Clean up 只不过 entries:
- mark 祇不過 as a variant of 只不過 and copy its definition into 只不過 (for comparison, the Pocket Oxford Chinese Dictionary doesn't list the 祇不過 form at all)
- change pinyin of main entry from zhi3 bu5 guo4 to zhi3 bu4 guo4 (dictionary convention is to not apply tone sandhi to multi-syllabic definitions)

Editor: since we already list 祇 as a variant at the character level and given that 祇不過 pretty rare anyway, I'm deleting the 祇不過 entry. I'm also leaving the neutral tone in bu5.

I think people sometimes miswrite 著名 as 着名. See http://chinese.stackexchange.com/questions/11018/%E7%9D%80-vs-%E8%91%97-is-it-the-same . IMHO it's good to have an entry in case people (like me) see this variant and can't find it in the dictionary, although this form is basically a mistake so maybe we don't want to include it.

Editor: we don't document incorrect writings, as this would simply be documenting web illiteracy, and the list is endless.

Move less relevant entry, "echo", to the end. For comparison, the Pocket Oxford Chinese Dictionary doesn't even list the "echo" sense.

Editor: I don't know. Other dictionaries such as New Century and Liang'an Cidian put "echo" at the head of the definition.
And it makes sense to group the nouns together "echo; sound; noise" rather than to put "echo" between adjective and classifier.
